Welcome to Manchester
This is Manchester!
Manchester is one of the most vibrant and dynamic places in the UK. It is without doubt an exciting place to live, work and visit; and is the north west’s regional centre for finance, leisure, retail and culture. It is also home to the Manchester Evening News Arena, one of the largest indoor arenas in Europe as well as being the home town of Manchester United and Manchester City Football Clubs. Manchester has one of the largest student populations in the UK as well as one of the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. North Manchester is renowned for its historic mix of communities and long-standing tradition of assimilating cultures from all over the world. This diversity adds to the spice that is Manchester.

Whether visiting Manchester for its huge variety of shops or to sample its famous nightlife, you will find a wonderful variety of things to do, see and experience. Amongst other things you will find numerous clubs, pubs and bars whatever your taste in music and style, and you can shop ’til you drop; before eating out in one of the many restaurants that cater for all tastes.
